Thanksgiving
In 1621, the Plymouth colonists and Wampanoag Indians shared an autumn harvest feast that is acknowledged today as one of the first thanksgiving celebrations in the colonies. For more than two centuries, day of thanksgiving were celebrated by individual colonies and states. It wasn’t until 1863, in the midst of the civil war, that president Abraham Lincoln proclaimed a national Thanksgiving Day to be held each November. Today we celebrate thanksgiving by thanking each other for our kindness and our gratitude. We invite brothers and sisters, cousins, and nephews, the entire family to celebrate one meal, on one day, one night, on a special event.

I am thankful for…
1.     My family
2.     The food we eat
3.     The clothes I have
4.     For the school coach
5.     For my health
6.     For house I live in
7.     The love and support
8.     Learning form mistakes
9.  For an education
10.   Having  home
11. For no disabilities

12.  For safety and security
