Volunteer Opportunities

1.  No One Should Die Alone, Need Volunteers: Silverado Hospice is looking for volunteers for their team. There patients are terminally ill and in their final stages of life. As there volunteer will be visiting patients in their own homes, in hospitals, or other nursing facilities. They will need people who would read a book or paper, play or listen to soothing music, talk and share stories.

Requirements: Must be 18 years or older

2.  Kaiser Permanente Hospice Volunteers: Kaiser Permanente is a leader in many areas of healthcare. Volunteering in hospice is a rewarding way to help patients and their families. You could be directly involved with patient care or assisting our support staff; you will help patients and families during a significant time of life. We seek volunteers to help with patient services, office work, and phone support. People of all ages are encouraged to apply.

Requirements: Background Check, Must be at least 18, Orientation or Training 6 months
