Duties and Responsibilities: Oncologist are physicians trained in a variety of cancer diagnostic and treatment procedures. Diagnostic procedures include scanning techniques, such as X-ray and magnetic resonance imaging, as well as surgical operations and biopsies. They collect medical history and perform physical evaluation, maintain records, managing the work staff, and coordinating with other personal.

Salary: $102,273 – $405,251


Education: Oncologist specialist must complete up to eight years of undergraduate and medical school education. The training can last up to three to five years depending on the specialty. Following training, all physicians must pass a licensing exam before they are able to practice.
