911Attack

The September 11 attack was a series of four coordinated terrorist attacks launched by the Islamic terrorist group called al-Qaeda. It happened in New York City and the Washington D.C., metropolitan are on Tuesday, September 11 2001. Four passenger airlines where attacked by 19 al-Qaeda terrorist sent by their group leader Osama bin Laden. They were- flown into buildings in suicide attacks. American Airlines flight 11 and United Airlines flight 175 were crashed into the north and south of the towers. About two hours past when both towers collapsed. This caused fires and partial or complete collapse of all other buildings in the WTC (World Trade Center) complex. The third plane, American Airlines Flight 77, was crashed into the pentagon. The fourth plane, United Airlines Flight 93, was targeted at Washington D.C., but crashed in to a field in Pennsylvania. In total, almost 3,000 people died. Now every night on 9/11 the world trade center shines a ray that is visible 60 miles away that remembrance of the 9/11 attack. I really think this affects us now as a state because we are a state that is friendly to anyone who is willing to let us talk and negotiate with them, but after that attack, it makes us wonder if we can't trust no one.
