Allergist / Immunologist
Duties and Responsibilities:
Immunologist is responsible for investigating
the functions of the body’s immune system and applying this knowledge in order
to diagnose and monitor a range of diseases and disorders. They are concerned
with understanding the development and effects of abnormal immune responses,
which are associated with conditions including autoimmune diseases, immunodeficiencies,
allergies and transplant rejection.
Salary: $225,814
Education: As physicians, immunologist must undergo rigorous training
that includes a bachelor’s degree, medical degree, residency and fellowship. To
treat patients, immunologist must be licensed; they may also choose to become
certified.
Reflection: I would not like to be a Immunologist because I would not like to make a mistake and get infected
